Water resources planning and management by Use of generalized Benders decomposition method to solve large-scale MINLP problems

2015 International Conference on Water Resource and Environment(WRE2015)——Water resources systems (WRS) models involve a large number of continuous and integer quantities. Water quality management problems also require the consideration of uncertainties related to the variability of flow streams and temperatures. WRS dynamics are primarily nonlinear. These characteristic features suggest the use of (stochastic) mixed-integer programming models, as well the use of sensibility analysis and simulations.
