Topological Magnetoelectric Fields for Chirality Discrimination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology(1)

The 4th Spring World Congress on Engineering and Technology (SCET 2015)——Chirality is of fundamental interest for chemistry and biology. Chiral properties are exhibited in textured liquid crystals and textured metamaterials. Nowadays, however, microwave biosensing lacks the spatial resolution to probe structural characteristics of chemical and biological objects. Recent advances will change this situation in microwave spectroscopy of chiral samples.
