Graphene Based Materials for Highly Efficient Energy Storage-Beyond Two Dimensional(2)

2014中国国际石墨烯创新大会(Grap-China 2014)——The interesting electronic structure of graphene has roused unique optical or opto-electric properties in graphene and thus the applications in photo-electronic devices or sensors. The plasmons in graphene can be excited in infrared or THz wavelength range, while the graphene demonstrate more like a dielectric film in the visible wavelength range. In addition, the 2D structure of graphene films can be used to adsorb the organic or bio molecules when the films are used in sensing. Here the processing using graphene in hybrid films for biosensors is summarized and some recent research in my group is discussed.
