Behavior of persistent organic degradation by activated sludge at the presence of auxiliary substrates
The 7th International Conference on Environmental Pollution and Public Health (EPPH 2015)——Organic compounds that are persistent to biodegration are difficult treatment targets for environmental engineers and scientists if the organics had become environmental pollutants.Activated sludge is the usual microbial biomass that is often successful in degradation and thus treatment of organic pollutants,including persistent ones.
