第二届海峡两岸功能材料科技与产业峰会（2015）——Additive manufacturing is a versatile tool and can be used to make gradient materials with multifunctionality. The microscopic states are to be defined as fundamental building blocks of materials. The rapid change of their statistic probability can result in instability and extrordinary properties. multifunctionality can be tailored through control of chemistry/strain/temperature/electric-magnetic fields with respect to instability.
