A 3D Miniature Microphone on the End Facet of an Optical Fiber
The 8th International Symposium on Photonics and Optoelectronics（SOPO2015）——An optical fiber microphone (OFM) is designed and realized experimentally via the technology of two-photon 3D lithography. The sensing part of the OFM is consists of a hemispheric gold coated diaphragm combined with a micro-lens (as shown in Figure. 1a). Light coming out from the core of the optical fiber will be diverged after transmitting through the micro-lens, and will be normally incident onto the diaphragm, then reflected back to the fiber(as shown in Figure.1b).
