Between two modes of seeing: A Psychological theory of observational depiction
The 5th Conference on Psychology and Social Harmony（CPSH 2015）——Partly inspired by professional artists’ working experience, I propose that an adequate theory of observational drawing and painting must include the interplays between two modes of seeing--the proximal mode and the distal mode.
