Design of an Ultrawideband VHF/UHF Antenna for Partial Discharge Detection
2014 IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Communications and Computing (ICSPCC 2014)——A compact ultra-wideband printed antenna with co-planar waveguide(CPW) feed is presented for free-space radiometric detection of partial discharge originating from high-voltage equipment.The proposed antenna consists of a bevelled metal radiating patch,two bevelled metal ground patches and a 50? co-planar waveguide transmission line.The performance and characteristics of the antenna operating in the VHF/UHF band(120~800MHz) has been successfully simulated and designed in order to show broadband matched impedance(VSWR<2),stable radiation pattern and constant group delay.
