第十一届国际旱地发展会议——Animal husbandry is a preferred production only when grain production is enough.Alfalfa pasture or other grassland cannot alone support animal husbandry without annual crop production.Maize is a preferred annual crop for animal production due to high productivity when it is suitable fo the climate condition.
